No dramas on the road today. Before leaving Mellon Udrigle, we took a walk on the beach, looking back at the campsite.

Straightforward run to Applecross via the north coast road, stopping at one of the Ben Eighe car parks to do a forest walk.
Passing through Torridon gave opportunity for a moody shot of Laithach above the village

Just past Shieldaig, we turned off the A896 onto yet another single track road headed round the coast to Applecross. En route, was the ‘red roof cottage’ which seems to have some fame for its attractive red roof and location.
Next up; Applecross.
The Applecross Inn provided excellent food and local Applecross brewery pale and red ales.
Applecross appears to have a fairly tame red deer.

All in all some spectacular camera shots show that the sights of Scotland are truly magnificent.
My comment , is , this blog , has been well put to gether, description with the photographs, is a master in descriptive literature.
